Ministries Associated with the Mass

Altar servers – current need for both adults & children who have completed third grade.

Lectors – as needed, to prepare & proclaim the Readings.

Ministers of Holy Communion – provide the Holy Eucharist at Mass or take to those who are homebound.

Ushers – assist with seating & collections at Saturday and Sunday Masses.

Sacristan Ministry – this Ministry has the important function of preparing the altar and sanctuary for Mass and other services. Men and women 18 years or older may participate. No experience is needed; training is available.


PREP/CCD – The Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) begins Sunday, Sepember 12th. We meet weekly after the 8 am Mass, beginning at 9:10 am. Children in grades 1-7 are welcome to join us. Forms available in the narthex.  You can download the registration form HERE. If you want to contribute to the formation of faith in our youth, contact Nancy Endacott at Catechists, Catechists in Training, and Aides are needed.

BECOMING CATHOLIC – Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

St Thomas More offers an opportunity to come together in a small directed group to learn more about our Catholic faith. Sessions are focused on providing your answers to questions about what it means to be a Catholic and prepares one to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist during the Easter season. Weekly Thursday evening sessions begin on September 16th at 7 pm. Contact Deacon Tim Murphy with questions.

The Neocatechumenal Way – An itinerary of adult Catholic formation lived out in small communities within the parish. Anyone who has difficulties seeing the goodness of God in the struggles of their life or wants to rediscover the fruits of their Baptism is invited to come and listen to a

Adult Faith Formation – Father Kozak will be offering Adult Faith Formation on Wednesday evening twice a month. The topic for this year will be Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI’s book “Jesus of Nazareth, Volume 1”. This formation will last until the end of May. You are cordially invited to attend. Father teaches a course on this topic at the seminary. Reading the book with Father will keep us all informed of what we should believe about Jesus, who He is and His mission. Music Ministry

The Music Ministry continues to serve the parish in adapted ways. We practice on Tuesday evenings from 7 – 8 pm. The choir sings once a month on Sundays and special feasts throughout the year. Knights of Columbus

Organization of Catholic Men dedicated to serving priests and vocations, parishes, families and youth. We raise funds and provide manpower to support the parish, charities and vocations. Men’s Malvern Retreat

Men of our parish join men from other parishes in the greater Pottstown area for a weekend retreat at Malvern Retreat House in Malvern, PA. during July every year. Ladies Auxiliary of Knights of Columbus

Assists the St. Thomas More Knights of Columbus Council #14090 in all matters pertaining to their general welfare. This would include helping at K of C sponsored events, fund raising assistance and set-up of facilities. They pray the Rosary on the 1st Saturday of each month at 8 am. Saint Thomas More Book and Movie Club

Meets every second Thursday, after the 8:30 a.m. Mass. We have instituted Zoom meetings to allow those who prefer to participate virtually. Every other month a book and/or movie is discussed. Members of the club select the books and movies. These selections help us grow more deeply in the love and understanding of our faith. Join any time! Donations from St. Thomas More Parishioners in the forms of monetary (cash or checks made payable to St. Thomas More Outreach in box near Outreach Table or collection baskets) and physical assistance (at the table in the social hall) are collected on a monthly basis for distribution to the needy in our area and supporting local organizations who assist those in need. Nursing Home Ministry

Humble Helpers

Church Decorations

CCD/PREP Sunday Kitchen

Offered Sundays after the 8:00 Mass, September thru May when PREP classes are in session (currently on hold due to Covid restrictions). Donations of snacks are always welcome. Adult kitchen help is needed weekly. Contact Joanne Bartelmo at 610-326-4316 or

40 Days for Life

A peaceful community-based campaign that draws attention to the evils of abortion through the use of a three-point program. Prayer, Fasting and Community Outreach. Worldwide Marriage Encounter

Offers married couples the opportunity to spend a weekend together away from the busyness of the world to focus on each other.
